Application of a two-component epoxy floor coating in an industrial space with elevated hygiene and chemical requirements.

The existing concrete substrate was first shot-blasted to remove the thin layer of cement laitance and open the concrete pores for proper bonding of the epoxy system. All cracks and irregularities were repaired with epoxy mortar before primer application.
The epoxy system was applied in multiple layers: a primer for substrate penetration, a self-levelling layer for a smooth and even surface, and a topcoat resistant to UV and chemicals. The colour was selected from the RAL palette in agreement with the investor.
The final result is a smooth, non-porous, monolithic surface without joints, easy to clean, that does not absorb dirt and is resistant to common industrial chemicals, oils and mechanical loads.
The floor is fully ready for demanding industrial conditions and meets the strict cleanliness standards required in production and warehouse spaces.
