Reinforced concrete floor slab

Before concreting, substrate preparation was carried out: compaction of fill, installation of a PE film as a vapour barrier and layers of thermal insulation where specified by the design. Reinforcement was placed in two layers per the structural calculation, with appropriate spacers and laps.

The concrete was placed and consolidated by vibration, and final trowelling was performed mechanically with helicopter trowels to achieve a flat, finished surface ready for further coverings or direct use.

During concrete curing we adhered to the prescribed technological times — wetting, covering with foil and hydration control — to avoid shrinkage cracks and ensure the full design strength.
