Polished industrial floor in a production hall
Project description

The floor was executed using polished concrete technology with an integrated mineral dry-shake hardener based on quartz and corundum, ensuring exceptional resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage typical for industrial environments.

The surface was machine-trowelled with helicopter trowels in multiple stages, achieving perfect flatness and the characteristic matte-glossy appearance of polished concrete. After trowelling, grinding and impregnation with lithium silicates were performed to further harden the concrete surface and reduce moisture absorption and dusting.

The final result is a floor that requires no special maintenance, is not prone to dusting, and provides a clean, professional working environment suitable for forklifts, pallet trucks and other industrial equipment.

  • Abrasion resistance (class A according to DIN 18557)
  • Dust-free — finished surface releases no particles
  • Resistance to oils and chemicals used in production
  • Multi-pass machine trowelling with helicopter trowels
  • Lithium impregnation for long-term protection
  • Suitable for heavy forklift and pallet-truck traffic

The floor was put into service without any subsequent intervention, giving the investor a solution that will retain its functionality and aesthetics for decades with minimal maintenance.
